The Food and Beverage Management curriculum includes the concept of “Farm to Table”. Therefore, the FHTM has been arranging field trip to organic farm every year for our year 1 F&B students. This year, the field trip was undertaken on March 13, led by Mr. Felipe Hempe, the instructor of FHTM. There were 92 students joined this field trip who were divided into groups and in charge of fertilizing, watering, picking out the green lacewings, and preparing for their lunch. Students enjoyed this trip and found that this was an experiential field trip. This trip is sponsored by Macao Foundation.
