Two professors (Professor Lai, Hung-Sheng and Professor Lin, Si-Shyun) from Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan with 30 students visited Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management on March 29, 2016.
Visitors participated in Dr. Pan Su-Ying’s Human Resource Management class in the morning. During the class, Dr. Pan demonstrated to the visitors how to link theoretical knowledge to practice. Visiting students from Taiwan had a good time discussing and interacted with our students. After the class, our program coordinator Ms. Yang Chieh-Yun introduced the operation of our culinary lab and training restaurant for the visitors, who were deeply impressed by our professional facilities. Visitors and our faculty exchanged thoughts and experiences in many aspects (e.g., internship program design, restaurant operation, collaboration with the industry, and faculty development). Visitors also had lunch in the Seasons restaurant.
Both universities look forward to having more exchange activities in the near future.
