The first culinary competition entitled “I am the Chef” was organized by FHTM and held on April 9, 2016. Three teams from year two and three food and beverage management students actively participated in this exciting competition. Each team was required to complete three courses using chicken as the theme including appetizer, main course and dessert in two and half hours. The evaluative criteria encompass practice skills, hygiene, team work, food presentation and taste. At the end, the team entitled “Small Potato” by Bobby Zeng, Simon Yu, Casper Ieong, and Paul Yang won the best award. They will represent FHTM to participate in the “2016 World Championship of Cookery in Taipei“ held in June, 2016. This competition is sponsored by Macao Foundation.
