Two postgraduate students Shi Kai Xin and Wang Ya Han were invited to attend the “5th Annual International Conference on Tourism and Hospitality Research (THoR 2017)” which was held in the Fort Corning Hotel in Singapore and was organized by the Global Science and Technology Forum (GSTF) in December 11-12, 2017.
In this conference, Shi Kai Xin made presentation of her paper "A measure of Tourism Experience for Spiritual Tourists: Scale Development and Validation". Wang Yahan also presented her paper "Impact of the Effects of Self-Congruity on Seasonal Tourism Destination Loyalty: A case study of Sanya City". The two students successfully completed their presentation and with good performance among scholars’ questions and comments. Their presentations obtained scholars’ encouragement and affirmation and illustrated the excellent major foundation of FHTM postgraduate students.
The Two students’ participation of this conference was funded by the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management which have been supported many postgraduate and doctoral students to attend international academic conferences. The students’ performance indicated that purpose for this funding that sharing the latest research results, enhancing students’ professional level and strengthening international academic exchange has been achieved.
