On January 5, 2018, FHTM attended the Guangdong Chimelong Group Award Ceremony and got the award of “Excellent Partner Institution”. The representative of Guangdong Chimelong Group, Ms. Ou Haiyan not only recognized the hard work and excellent performance of our student interns in her speech but also in the award she delivered to the representative of our university. After handing over all the awards, Program Director of FHTM, Dr. Jose Wong shared the experiences of cooperation between enterprises and universities. Student interns from different institutions organized the event and gave performances at the ceremony with the theme of “joining forces to make dreams come true”. At the end of the event, all representatives and student interns took group photos to mark this occasion. This ceremony and the award we received will motivate FHTM students to strive for better performances at their internship programs and it is anticipated that more joint programs will be undertaken to provide more internship and career opportunities for FHTM students.
