Fourth Lecture of FHTM’s “Seminars by F & B Leaders”

The fourth lecture of the “Seminars by F & B Leaders” hosted by FHTM was held on May 11, 2018. Chef Sandra Barros, owner of the SAB 8 Cafe, was invited to give a talk for Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) students. During the lecture, Chef Barros presented the cooking techniques of the “Portuguese Chicken” and shared with the students on the development and the current situation of the Macanese cuisine in Macau.
Chef Sandra Barros first demonstrated the steps of cooking “Portuguese Chicken” and explained the techniques needed for this dish, which was followed by the presentation of the history of local Macanese cuisine and its features. Before end of the lecture, students raised questions enthusiastically showing their strong interest in the cooking of the local Macanese cuisine.
