Lecturer ZHU Yanni of Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management was awarded the “2017/2018 Academic Year Teaching Excellence Award”

Lecturer Zhu Yanni was award the “2017/2018 Academic Year Teaching Excellence Award”. The Teaching Excellence Award aims to honor teachers who have outstanding performances and commitment in pursuing perfection, also to recognize contributions to the continuous improvement of the teaching and learning quality of the University.

Lecturer Zhu Yanni has been with the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management for almost 10 years. She mainly teaches Economics and Food & Beverage Cost Control. Her passion in education encourages her to prepare detailed class materials, and adopt multiple forms of teaching in her classes, therefore, which have greatly improved students learning motives and engagement in learning.

The Teaching Excellence Award was set up since 2008, and has awarded 28 teachers whose names have been engraved in the Honor Board for permanent display. Among them, six outstanding teachers are from FHTM, including Senior Lecturer Yang Chieh Yun, Assistant Professor Dr. Feng Yan, Assistant Professor Dr. Huan Junyuan, and this year Lecturer Zhu Yanni.
