It is essential for the students in Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management to master the knowledge and skills related to room service. In order to enable students to have a better understanding of hotel management and improve their professional accomplishment, FHTM held the final contest of Housekeeping Competition in Block L Guesthouse on April 27, 2019. It’s our great honor to have invited our teachers to be the judging guests at the event. Many thanks for their valuable comments for the competitors.
After a brief review of the preliminary competition, the competition officially began. The competition was divided into two parts. Twenty competitors would decide the group and order by drawing lots. They were divided into five groups, and the best group would be chosen after the competition. Competitors used their professional knowledge learned during the training to solve the difficult problems in the competition.
Finally, every group got the different prize according to their performance. Liu Zhaoyi, Wang Qihang, Chen Xianzhong won the first prize. After the award ceremony, the competition ended with the taking of a group photo. Hope that every competitor can improve themself after this competition and do much better in the future!
