From August 11th to August 25th, 2022, Assistant Professor Liu, Yingni led 7 students of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management participated in the 2022 Entrepreneurship and Innovation Pilot Elite Program Training Camp in Shenzhen. The camp is an exchange activity funded by the Ministry of Education for faculty members and students from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. The event attracted a total of 99 participants from University of Macau, Macau University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The University of Hong Kong, Lingnan University, National Taipei University of Technology and Shenzhen University.

The 15-day elite entrepreneurship and innovation training camp consist of various activities including lectures, online courses, forums, offline visits to startups and incubators, entrepreneurship project roadshow, competitions, etc. This event aimed to create a high-quality international entrepreneurship and innovation platform, cultivate high-level entrepreneurship talents. In the meanwhile, the event stimulates students' enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and improve their ability to integrate resources. M.U.S.T students and the participants from mainland China and Hong Kong teamed up for a competition, in which two teams finished third place with their projects relevant to AI and medical equipment respectively, and one team awarded Merit with their work in association with post-pandemic technology. Through the training camp, the students have comprehensively improved their technological innovation and entrepreneurial literacy and ability, and more importantly, gained friendship and enhanced understanding.
