Pacific Asia Travel Association Macau Chapter held its Annual General Meeting on June 6, 2023, at N502 at the Macau University of Science and Technology. Macau University of Science and Technology was elected chairman of General Assembly in Pacific Asia Travel Association Macau Chapter.
Mr. Ricky Hoi, Deputy Director of Macao Government Tourism Office, provided an update on the tourism situation in Macau. Professor Ben. K Goh, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of Macau University of Science and Technology, reported on the activities of Pacific Asia Travel Association headquarter. The representative of Venetian Macau Ltd. reported on the chapter's financial status, while Pacific Asia Travel Association Macao Student Chapter Ms. Ariel provided an update on student activities.

The Annual General Meeting provided an opportunity for the Pacific Asia Travel Association Macau Chapter members to exchange information and ideas, discuss the current state of the tourism industry in Macau, and plan future activities to promote tourism in the region, which could help cultivate a new generation of talents with multiple skills for Macau and other areas, contributing to Macau’s positioning as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure.
The new committee members of the Pacific Asia Travel Association Macau Chapter are as follows: the Macau University of Science and Technology representing as the Chairman of General Assembly; Macau Government Tourism Office - Vice Chairman of General Assembly and Shun Tak China Travel Ship Management (Macau) Ltd. - Secretary of General Assembly. Hotel Royal Macau - Chairman of Executive Committee; Macau International Airport Co. Ltd. - Vice Chairman of Executive Committee; Macau Institute for Tourism Studies - Secretary of Executive Committee; Cotai Travel - Treasurer and Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau, City University of Macau, MGM Macau – member. Finally, the Venetian Macau Ltd. - Chairman of Supervisory Board; Air Macau Company Ltd. - Vice Chairman of Supervisory Board and Vacations International Travel Service (Macau) Ltd. - Secretary of Supervisory Board.
