On September 25 and October 19, 2023, Assistant Professor Liu Yingni and Lecturer Mike Lei of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of Macau University of Science and Technology organized students from the Gaming Sociology and Responsible Gaming, Gaming Psychology and Casino Marketing and Current Gaming Industry Research courses to visit the two major gaming device suppliers in the world—LT Game and Aristocrat Gaming.
The two companies introduced the types of gaming devices, the necessity and operation method of Casino Management System, the characteristics and differences of ETG and DETG and the latest technology information in the gaming industry. Students actively raised up questions about issues including the device operation, the future development of the gaming technology products, and the practical methods to execute responsible gaming.

Students said that these activities were a very valuable experience to observe the operating system and mechanism behind gaming equipment, to understand the development trends of the industry, and to combine the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom with practice.
