In early November, the 13th China Exhibition Education and Technology Cooperation Development Forum and the "Yuanhua Cup" National College Student Exhibition + Creative Competition Finals took place at Xi'an Foreign Affairs College. Students from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) of the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) excelled in the preliminary rounds of the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan competition district, securing all awards, and advancing with three teams. In the finals in Xi'an, FHTM students earned three awards after intense competition. The project "Green Action, Responsibility for the Future - Journey to Chengdu" from FHTM (team members: Liu Song, Song Wanyu, Liu Shuhan, Lv Xinyi, Wang Yuzhuo, Teacher: Assistant Professor Wang Shuo) won first prize. The projects "Concentrating on the Ancient Capital: Interactive Assistance Across Thousands of Miles – MICE travel proposal for for Alibaba Group" (team members: Chen Ruijun, Shen Beiyi, Zeng Mengqinyao, Luo Kaizhong, Teachers: Assistant Professor Xu Ye, Assistant Professor Liu Jing) and "Ex Band: Exhibition Big Data Collection System" (team members: Zhou Ruigan, Cao Gangrui, Sun Xuezhi, Teachers: Associate Professor Wong Weng Chou, Assistant Professor Wang Shuo) received second prizes. In addition, Associate Professor Wong Weng Chou, and Assistant Professor Wang Shuo from FHTM were honored with the Best Teacher awards.

Since 2011, the forum and the "Yuanhua Cup" competition have been conducted for 12 sessions, earning high recognition from universities and the industry. This year’s forum and competition theme was "New Development, New Track, New Prospects." For the first time, a Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan competition district was established for college students in these regions, which was organized by MUST. This not only expanded the competition’s coverage and scope but also significantly enhanced exchanges and cooperation in exhibition education between mainland China and universities in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. The outstanding performance of FHTM students and teachers showcased their talent and strength in the exhibition field, bringing honor to the university and adding brilliance to the development of local education in Macau.
