On November 3, 2023, Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) held the first lecture of “Seminars by Masters from Tourism Industry” in N316. The lecture invited Professor Paola Ossola from Cesar Ritz Colleges Switzerland as the keynote speaker. Mr. He Jianhui, SEG China Director of Institutional Partnership Programmes, Professor Ben K. Goh, Dean of F.H.T.M., Program Director Pan Su Ying, Program Director Feng Yan, and more than 120 teachers and students attended the lecture.

Professor Paola Ossola explored why sustainability is one of the important issues the world is facing, using lively and critical thinking. From the perspectives of society, economy, and ecology, she analyzed the concept and content of "accessible tourism," showcasing the achievements and challenges of the tourism industry in accessibility infrastructure from both social and environmental dimensions. Professor Paola Ossola's teaching style, combining meticulous and rigorous data with real and concrete case studies, received unanimous praise from the audience of teachers and students.

During the Q&A session, Professor Paola Ossola patiently answered students' questions regarding sustainable tourism.
