From November 3rd to 5th, 2023, Wynn Macau hosted its first "Chili Cook-off." Kuok Wai Un and Fong Keng Wo, fourth-year students from Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at MUST, showcased outstanding performances in the competition. Kuok Wai Un, with his creatively modern Thai dish " Chili Pepper and Shrimp Croquette with Tom Yum Style Sauce," claimed the second place. This dish offers a contemporary interpretation of the classic Thai cuisine. In a fiercely competitive environment, Kuok Wai Un demonstrated exceptional culinary skills. Wynn invited several renowned celebrity chefs to serve as judges, who evaluated the dishes based on creativity, taste, and technique to ensure fairness and professionalism in the competition.
