In the afternoon of October 7th, 2013, at the invitation of FHTM, Dr. Laura Dobson, Program Director of Center for Global Engagement, Florida State University, delivered an informative and inspirational seminar for students at D Hall. Dr. Dobson made an introduction to this program, elaborated on the brand-new on-line application system, and answered students’ questions of common concern such as English tests scores as an evaluation indicator, credits to be acquired from this internship activity and costs of the program, which provided students with a better understanding of this program. Seniors who once worked with Disney for this internship program also shared with the audience their valuable experience. Many students said this seminar had just deeper stimulated their interest, and made them better informed of and more confident in the selection.
Faculty recruitment for this program in 2014 had also kicked off on the same day.
