MUST FHTM two faculty programs successfully accredited under TedQual

On 3rd June 2014 the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the Macau University of Science and Technology received some very good news from the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). The UNWTO and Themis Foundation informed the Dean, Professor Michael Hitchcock, that two of the Faculty’s programs have successfully accredited under TedQual. The programs are the Bachelor of International Tourism Management and the Master of International Tourism Management. The former is a re-accreditation and the latter is a new accreditation. TedQual has become the international benchmark for programs in tourism and hospitality and is seen as an increasingly rigorous form of accreditation which all leading institutions of higher education in China, Macau and Hong Kong seek to acquire.
