The "MUST Dream" team comprised of four current students from School of Business (MSB), Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), Chang Yue, Luo Di, Zhou Zitong and Zhu Yutong and one MUST alumna Huang Wei competed at the final round of the 3rd “21st Century-Road King Cup” Innovation Case Competition and brought home the third-place trophy on June 7th 2015. The nation-wide competition was held at Wanzhong Building, National School of Development, Peking University. The judging panel for the competition consists of experts and scholars from National School of Development, Peking University, 21st Century Media, Road King Infrastructure Limited, and China Finance 40 Forum. After a preliminary round and a semi-final round of arduous competition, Team MUST Dream entered the final with five other rival teams from across the country and finally took the third prize for their outstanding research paper.
Representing MUST, Prof. Pang Chuan, Vice Dean of MSB and MSB's two Assistant Professors Li Xin and Liu Yide accompanied Team MUST Dream to the competition as the team’s supervising teachers.
The competition jurors include Prof. Huang Yiping, Deputy Dean of National School of Development, and Director of the Research Center for Internet Finance, Peking University, Mr. Shan Weibao, Chairman of the Board, Road King Infrastructure Limited, Prof. Shen Yan, National School of Development, Peking University, Mr. Chen Chao, Deputy Secretary General of Space-time Data Research Center of State Information Center of China, and Mr. Zhang Le, Vice President of Renrendai.com, a peer-to-peer (P2P) online lending platform. They applauded Team MUST Dream’s collective endeavors, regarded the quality of their submission very high and encouraged them to continue to pursue and promote the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The “21st Century-Road King Cup” Innovation Case Competition was organized by the 21st Century-Road King Scholarship Program on Finance, co-launched by the 21st Century Media, National School of Development of Peking University, Road King Infrastructure Limited and China Finance 40 Forum. This competition aims to enhance college students' interest in internet, new media, finance, real estate, etc. and reinforce their analytical skills, innovative capabilities and entrepreneurial orientation through business case studies. Students receiving awards at this competition will be able to take part in activities organized by the 21st Century-Road King Scholarship Program on Finance. Some reputable universities in Mainland China are among the participating universities of this competition, such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Sun Yat-sen University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and so on.
