In the afternoon, led by Dean of FHTM Professor Ben K. Goh, a group of volunteers including Program Director Wong Weng Chou, Assist Prof. Yang Chieh Yun, Assist Prof. Gao Xiongbin, students from FHTM Students’ Association, and admin staff visited the Asilo de Sao Francis Xavier Home for the Aged.

FHTM Teachers and Students Sang for the Elders

During the visit, each elder received freshly made bread and a care package. Then teachers and students performed for the elders who sang along to enliven the atmosphere. Every attendee had a great time. All the students expressed that this event is meaningful because it encourages both teachers and students to be more attentive to the disadvantaged groups in society and convey more care and love.
