The 5th Hong Kong International Biotechnology Convention and Exhibition (BIOHK2026) was grandly held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from September 9 to 12, 2026. Centering on the core concept of "A Global Biotech Kaleidoscope, this event brought together over 10,000 biotechnology professionals and experts from more than 40 countries. alongside nearly 200 leading international and domestic exhibitors.

Keynote Speech by President Zhu Jian-Kang

From September 9 to 10, President Zhu Jian-Kang participated in the Global Biotech Leaders Summit themed “Towards a New Global Health Governance: Advancing Equity and Access in Biotech Innovation”. He also delivered a keynote presentation titled "Turning back the DNA methylation clock for health and longevity".

Keynote Speech by Vice President Paul Kwong-Hang Tam

On September 10, Vice-President Paul Kwong-Hang Tam delivered a keynote presentation titled "Regenerative Medicine for Liver & Gut Diseases". Prof. Tam presented novel pathological mechanisms underlying rare pediatric conditions such as biliary atresia, while providing breakthrough solutions for clinical translation in drug repurposing, anti-fibrotic therapy, tissue repair, drug screening, and regenerative medicine for common liver and gut diseases.
