MUST School of Business welcomed new students and faculty members for the 2026/2027 academic year
The School of Business (MSB) at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) welcomes 2,119 new students for the 2026/2027 academic year, including 962 undergraduates, 1,009 master’s students, and 148 doctoral students. To help new students better integrate into the university learning environment, MSB Student Orientation was held on 28 August 2026 at the Auditorium of Block R of MUST, with over 600 teachers, undergraduates, master’s, and doctoral students attending.

During the orientation, Associate Professor Zhao Honghao, Assistant Dean of MSB, represented all faculty members in welcoming the new students across 3 undergraduate programs, 11 master’s programs, and 2 doctoral programs. He provided a brief overview of MSB, covering its development history, student capacity, faculty team and the management team. He also highlighted the construction of laboratories, as well as the student awards, further studies, and employment prospects of students. Besides, he detailed each degree program offered by MSB and invited faculty members in charge of each major to interact with the new students, elaborating on the features of each major.

Professor Sheng Ni, Dean of MSB, presented the Dean’s Honor List certificates to students who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or above and ranked in the top 10% of their class for the 2025/2026 academic year. A total of 289 students received the commendation.

MSB student orientation highlights
Furthermore, MSB welcomed 14 new faculty members from renowned universities in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Mainland China for the 2026/2027 academic year. This addition further enriches the international composition of MSB faculty team, elevating overall teaching quality and research capabilities.
