The International Gastronomy Forum, 2018, held by Macao Government Tourism Office, was kicked off on January 17, 2018. It is the first time Macao has hosted this forum since Macao was certified by UNESCO as the Creative City of Gastronomy in 2017. This year, delegates from around 20 creative cities were invited to attend this forum. The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Macau University of Science and Technology was invited as one of the higher education institutes that offer Food and Beverage Management Program in Macao. The Vice Dean, Ms. Amy Chu and the Program Director Ms. Brenda Yang represented the University to showcase the Food and Beverage Management Program to all the delegates, including special features and strategic plan of the program. It was followed by friendly exchange and fruitful discussion among all the delegates. It is hoped that this workshop can further our cooperation with these creative cities not only to enhance our own F&B program but also to promote the colorful and cultural “Macao” as the new Creative City of Gastronomy.
