The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management will hold the Second Session of “Chef Series” -- Culinary Demonstration Workshop by Chef Asa Guo and Chef Charles Liang on March 31st, 2023. Chef Asa Guo and Chef Charles Liang from Sands China will be invited to share successful experiences and showcase culinary skills.

Guest Speaker: Chef Asa Guo and Chef Charles Liang
Chef Asa Guo is the chef of Churchill’s Table in The Londoner Macao with eight years working experiences in culinary industry. When he worked in the Conrad Beijing, he participated in the Hilton Group Cooking Competition and won the first place. Then he joined the Left Bank Rive Gauche in The Puxuan Hotel where the restaurant won The Plate MICHELIN.
Chef Charles Liang is the chef of Churchill’s Table in The Londoner Macao. He worked as an intern in many hotels and restaurants to gain experience.
After joining Sands China, the two young chefs have actively participated in various culinary competitions. In 2022, Chef Asa Guo and Chef Charles Liang, together with several young chefs from Sands China, represented the company to participate the Macao Integrated Tourism and Leisure Enterprises Vocational Skills Competition – City of Gastronomy Capital Vocational Skills Competition and also won the Gold Award in Western Culinary Arts and the Best Appetizer.
