The FHTM hosted the fourth Distinguished Hospitality Executive Forum on November 12, 2015. Ms. Ruby O, Executive Director of Food Safety, in the Melco Crown Entertainment (MCE), was invited to give a talk entitled Food and Safety in Hospitality for our hotel management majors. Ms. Ruby O shared her experience in Food Safety and how it has increasingly become important in hospitality industry and from customers’ perspective. Ms. O also emphasis how MCE obtained the HACCP, food safety certification, and became the first and the only certified food and beverage operation in Macau.
