The FHTM hosted the Academic Seminar Series on April 15, 2016 and welcomed Associate Dean and Professor Brian King in School of Hotel and Tourism Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Professor King has a wealth of knowledge of hospitality and tourism research. His presentation entitled Integrated Resort Developments in Asia: Bleisure & Edutainment drew a lot of interest from our students and faculty alike. It considers the changing development of integrated resort in various countries, including Australia. The issue of hybrid tourist was widely discussed to better understand the pattern of contemporary tourism. The visiting students from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology were also invited to attend. This seminar is sponsored by Macao Foundation.
