On May 7, 2016, with the referral from Macau Government of Tourist Office, a team of 30 principals and teachers from middle schools in Hong Kong visited Macau University of Science and Technology. Vice president Pang Su Seng and Prof. Philip Xie, Dean of Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management welcomed the delegation.
Dean Philip Xie and 3 Program Directors of Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Jose Wong, Brenda Yang and Feng Yan successively introduced the programs and curriculum design to the delegation. They also replied various questions regarding the enrollment from Hong Kong students. In addition, they show the delegation around the MUST Training Restaurant, The Seasons, FHTM guest house and culinary lab. Both parties had great communication regarding further collaboration. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen the relationship between middle schools in Hong Kong and Macau University of Science and Technology and to let the middle schools in Hong Kong get to know more about Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
