Student representatives, Ms. Huang Ying, Ms. Ma Yuan and Ms. Ni Xiaohui, as well as Lecturer Huang Jun Yuan from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management attended the 2016 PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association ) Annual Summit held in Guam, USA from May 18 to 21, 2016. The four-day conference themed “Exploring the Secrets of the Blue Continent” brought together over 400 industrial experts and delegates from tourism bureau, travel agents, airlines, educational institutions and other hospitality industries all over 50 countries. During the Summit, the FHTM team was actively involved with the roundtable discussions of global climate change, and got updated on the latest tourism trend, established friendship with students from different countries and participated in hands-on local Chamorro culture.
