Ms. Hongxian Zhang, a doctoral candidate of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM), attended the “2016 Academy of Global Hospitality & Tourism Conference (2016 AGHTC )” which was held at Seoul, South Korea on 20-23 May, 2016.
During the conference, Hongxian Zhang gave a presentation entitled “A Scale for the Assessment of Community Integration of Lifestyle Migrants”. The study makes efforts to construct a scale to measure the integration of lifestyle migrants into the local community. The presentation is preliminary result of the ongoing thesis study of Hongxian Zhang. The supervisor of Ms Zhang, Dr Libo Yan is the co-author of the study.
The attendance of this international conference is supported by the graduate program of the FHTM. Ms. Zhang’s attendance demonstrated the steady improvement of the postgraduate education.
