On June 11, 2016, FHTM has hosted the graduation ceremony for the graduating students of 2016 in D Hall. Dean Philip Xie delivered a speech to encourage students “challenge orthodoxy, dream a little, strive for excellence and dare the impossible”. Mr. Martin Yan, celebrity chef in Yan Can Cook, delivered the commencement speech for all students and parents, talking about his personal journey and asking everyone to keep it real. His speech was brimming with joy and inspiration. In the end, the student singers, Lorenzo Han and Han Xuefan, also performed on the stage for “these years”. After the speech, reception was held in A Hall to accommodate students and parents. The students from Food and Beverage Management prepared the delicious snacks and catered every participant. The student volunteers also prepared the little gifts for graduating students to say farewell. It was a nice memory to for this exciting event.
