On July 18, 2016, FHTM Ph.D. student, Ms. Fangqing Shen, particpated in the tourism study training camp co-hosted by Sun Yat Sen University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. There were about 100 Ph.D. students from 40 different universities gathered for this ten-day training event.
The theme of the camp was research methods and provided a forum to exchange new ideas, qualitative and quantitative methods and case studies. There were invited professors to use these case studies to illustrate the importance of research in hospitality and tourism. The camp has expanded the horizon of our Ph.D. students to get prepared for the program at MUST.
