Hosted by Macao Cultural and Heritage Association and supported by Macao Government of Tourism Office for 2016 Tourism Awareness Series, the first session was undertaken by Associate Professor Tam from Guangdong Architecture College. The class of CTM1302 students attended the presentation led by Dr. Yang Zhang, Assistant Professor and Graduate Program Director.
Professor Tam’s talk centered on Kaiping Diaolou, the World Heritage List, by addressing the conservation and protection, as well as using for tourism resource and marketing plans. The presentation provided an in-depth knowledge of cultural heritage tourism.
