On June 28th, 2016, eight students of FHTM kicked off a 3-week summer study program at the University of South Carolina, United States. The tour included visiting the local convention centers, golf club, Disneyland and Universal Studio.
The purpose of the tour not only broadened the students’ horizons but also enriched their extracurricular experience by visiting and appreciating different cultures. The program served to improve their practical skills by participating in the classes. They had also visited the local Golf Club as well as the theme parks. Cooking Classes had been specially designed for students to let them learn more about Food and Beverage. Moreover, the students had a great time at the Lake Marry, enjoying a party held by the teachers from the USC faculty. The students had built a strong friendship with some residents after various activities.
FHTM strengthens a tie with University of South Carolina, while this study program offers an excellent opportunity for our students to learn and experience in the field of tourism and hospitality in the US.
