Faculty Dean Prof. Philip Feifan Xie, Assistant Professor Pan, Su-Ying, and Program Director Chieh-Yun Yang were invited and sponsored by National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) to participate in the 15th International Symposium on New Paradigms of Management on November 4, 2016.
The conference organized a special session addressing contemporary hospitality management, and three faculty members were the invited speakers. More specifically, Prof. Xie firstly outlined the contemporary hospitality and tourism situation and directions for future development in Macau. Dr. Pan introduced the change of tourists’ population structure, strategies to respond this change, and the new challenges for hotel management. Lastly, Ms. Chieh-Yun Yang provided an overview of MICE industry in Macau. Both student and teacher showed their high interests in knowing Macau situations.
There were many academic exchange activities between MUST and NTUST during the past one year. Since MOU between two universities has been processed, we look forward to establishing a closer relationship and futher collabrolations with NTUST.
