On Nov.11th, 2016, the 4th Culture Show held by Faculty of Hostility and Tourism Management took place in N101 at Macau University of Science and Technology. The theme of the Culture Show this year was to show students’ own unique traveling places in their minds. After the first-round interviews, there were six teams of students can participate in the final competition and held a small scale of exhibition together.
After about one month careful and serious preparation, all six teams were well-prepared and laid out six wonderful booths. The opening ceremony began at 10:00am that day. A number of guests, teachers and students came and took part in the ceremony. The Dean of FHTM, Professor Xie, President of FHTM Students’ Association, Mr. Tan Zipeng and the representative of the sponsor, Ms. Chen Wuyou delivered their speeches in turn and all expressed their wishes for the Culture Show. And then, six teams introduced their booths’ themes in proper order and the Culture Show started officially.
The Culture Show lasted about one day which attracted a great mount of guides and students come and enjoy. Some pre-prepared games and performances took alternately during the Culture Show which made the audiences feel enjoyable and pleasant.
The merry time always passes quickly. The closing ceremony of the Culture Show began at 5:00pm. The special guests awarded the First, Second, Third Prides and the Best Popularity Pride Respectively. Then, the president, Mr. Tan Zipeng gave a speech of the summary of the Culture Show and all the participants and staff took a group photo which means the ending of the 4th Culture Show.
