The Food and Beverage management curriculum is designed under the concept of “Farm to Table”; therefore, FHTM has been arranging a field trip to organic farm annually for our year 1 F&B students. This year, the field trip was schedule on November 27. Led by Mr. Felipe Hempe, there were 52 students joined this field trip. Students were divided into groups and in charge of fertilizing, watering, picking out the green lacewings, and doing the preparation for their lunch. Instructor had also demonstrated to students on cutting skills on the farm. Students had enjoyed organic lunch prepared by them. This field trip is sponsored by Macao Foundation.
