On Nov.11th, 2016, with the invitation from School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM) of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the representatives from FHTM Student Association visited the campus and had an excellent network with the counterparts.
Led by Ms. Feng Yan, the program coordinator of BITM, all students received the warm welcome from the representatives of SHTM. Professor Eric Chan from SHTM expressed a sincere welcome to the guests and started introducing the program and facilities located in SHTM. President of SHTM Students’ Association briefly introduced the SHTMSA. After all the presentations, all the people took group photos at the doorway of SHTM and toured the Hotel Icon under the guide of the hotel staff. And then all met again and toured SHTM under the guide of Professor Eric Chan, including the teaching kitchen, lecture rooms, and the reference room.
The visiting around the Hotel Icon and SHTM lasted about one and a half hour and then all the people came back to the classroom to hold the Q&A session. PolyU students and MUST students discussed about the courses and the students’ association intensely. Finally, the two sides’ representatives exchanged the souvenirs.
