Dean Philip Xie was invited to deliver a keynote speech at 7th India International Hotel, Travel and Tourism Research Conference held in New Delhi from February 17 to 19, 2017. It was the largest tourism and hospitality themed conference in India which attracted over 200 scholars and practitioners from hotel industry. The venue was located in Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. Professor Xie addressed the creativity and innovation in hospitality and tourism management and received acclaim for exploring new research methods employed in the hospitality studies. The visit also strengthens the academic relationship with institutions in India.
