FHTM Dean Xie attended the international seminar entitled Glocalizing Dynamics and Cultural Heritage in Asia hosted by University of Seoul on June 1, 2017. He delivered the speech on industrial heritage tourism and shared research interest with scholars and students alike. After the seminar, Dean Xie signed the MOU with SSK Research Group at University of Seoul and Konkuk University to further collaboration and exchange programs between two institutions. The SSK Research Group is the top-notch institute in Korea specializing in the local identity and cultural heritage development. Its research focuses include Hallyu for sustainable tourism. Through the work with the SSK, it is expected to promote academic and teaching exchanges in the near future.
