The "Youth Entrepreneurship Competition - Catering Series", hosted by the Macau Youth Entrepreneurship Development Association and Foods in Macau, and supported by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau, was held at the 23rd Macau International Trade and Investment Fair (2018MIF) on October 20, 2018.
The event was held at the Venetian Macao Convention and Exhibition Center in the Sicily Hall. The event has been held for three consecutive years. In the past three years, the company has been committed to cultivating the entrepreneurial innovation ability of the young people in Macau. The theme of the catering industry is for the young people who are interested in starting a business in Macau and to help them understand the situation of the industry and the ways of operation for catering enterprises. Besides, it can also help them to accumulate valuable experience for the future.
In the "2018 Youth Entrepreneurship Competition - Catering Series" event, three students from the Bachelor of International Tourism Management program of Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of Macau University of Science and Technology, namely Xiaohui Hu, Fang Chen and Weiyu Liang, chose the "Macau Knight Distribution Co., Ltd." as their entrepreneurial project and finally won the second place and a token of MOP 1,000.
