FHTM Distinguished Hospitality Executive Forum 
– Presented by Mr. Timothy Millet

The Distinguished Hospitality Executive Forum hosted by FHTM was held on September 28, 2018. Mr. Timothy Millett, the Director of Learning and Advancement of Wynn Palace was invited to give a talk entitled how to enhance job competitiveness for FHTM students.

The content of the speech is mainly divided into two parts: CV preparation and interview techniques. In the first part, Mr. Millett introduced the preparation for a competitive CV and how to avoid unnecessary mistakes. In the second part, Mr. Millett introduced some practical interview techniques. In addition, Ms. Alice Chung, assistant director of Learning and Advancement of Wynn Palace also came to the forum to provide her valuable suggestions during the interview. Seven students were invited to a scenario role play on some dos and don’ts during the interview. From this forum, our year 4 students not only obtained advices from the industry expertise, but also facilitated them to be well prepared for their internship opportunity seeking in the near future.
