The Sixth Cultural Show Competition hosted by Student Union of FHTM was held on 16th, Nov. 2018 in N101. There were six teams joining the contest.
The opening ceremony began at 9:30 am on the day. A number of guests, teachers and students came and took part in the ceremony. The Vice Dean of FHTM Ms. Amy Chu and the Vice President of Student Union Mr. Randle Yuan delivered a speech respectively to express the expectation and blessing of this event. After that, the contest began officially by the announcement of the President. Six teams in the competition made full use of their booths to show diverse national culture from all over the world, attracted people to interact with them by providing special games, food and performance.
In addition, the event also included lucky draws for the visitors, and brought special experience to the audiences by showing different national groups of the world. Culture show can unlock communication and gain further understanding between diverse nations, peoples and histories.
The closing ceremony was held at 3:45 pm on the day. After a brief summary of the contest, President Valerie Li respectively awarded the first, second, third prizes and the most popular team. The contest ended by taking group photos with the guests, teams and staff. See you next year.
