The Distinguished Hospitality Executive Forum hosted by FHTM was held on October 4, 2019. Ms. Lorraine Lau, the Director of Talent Acquisition from MGM and Front Office Manager Eric Si Tou was invited to give a talk entitled Improving your employability for Hospitality Industry to our FHTM students.
Ms. Lorrain Lau first introduced her work experience in the hospitality industry, and she recommended to our students with 3 Ps system—Be Prepared, Proactive, and Patient in their career path. The Front Office Manager, Eric Si Tou also shared some tips for our students on how to prepare for their interviews and also some do’s and don’ts during the interview process. At the end of the seminar, our year four students posted questions to the speakers proactively. This seminar was sponsored by Macao Foundation.
