Professor Cevat Tosun from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Macau University of Science and Technology visited the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management at South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China on November 12 and 13. First, Professor Tosun met with Professor Doudou Bi, Director of School of Tourism and Hospitality Management and Professor Wei Wei, Associate Director of School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Then, Professor Tosun held meeting with academic staffs and post graduate students of School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, SCUT. In the meeting, Professor Tosun advised on publications in the journals cited in SSCI. Possible joint cooperation in the area of research projects and publications were discussed in the meeting.
On November 13, Professor Tosun delivered a guest lecture on “Expected Nature of Community Participation in the Tourism Development Process” at School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, South China University of Technology. Director, associate director, academic staffs and postgraduate students of School of Tourism and Hospitality Management attended the gust lecture. Professor Tosun and Professor Wei agreed on future collaborations in the area of joint research projects and publications.
