The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management Student Consultative Committee (SCC) meeting of Year 2022/2023 was held at O201 on October 13th, 2022. The Student Consultative Committee (SCC) was committed to providing an interactive platform for students to provide feedback directly to the Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Students are encouraged to provide suggestions to student representatives of SCC, and the student representatives discuss the issues in the SCC meeting to solve the problems for students.

The meeting was attended by Professor Ben K. Goh, Dean of the FHTM of M.U.S.T., Associate Professor Zhang Yang, Program Director, Associate Professor Tang Juan, Assistant Professor Brenda Yang, Program Director, Assistant Professor Feng Yan, Program Director and Ms. Michelle Ou, Senior Supervisor. The student representatives participating in this meeting include two students of Doctor of Philosophy in Tourism Management, Edward Chen and Jeffery Xia, two students of Master in International Tourism Management. Zane Guo and Arissa Liang, one student of Master in Hotel Management, three students of Bachelor in Hotel Management Scarlett Qi, Amber Wang and Joe Jin and three students of Bachelor in International Tourism Management Elsa Zhu, Anna Liu and Jennifer Gao.
At the meeting, the student representatives of SCC introduced themselves, and then Professor Ben K. Goh expressed his expectations for SCC in the new semester. Students and teachers exchanged views and ideas on FHTM events and activities in 2022-2023, including: FHTM Football Match, Christmas Gala Dinner, Cantonese corner, etc. In the meanwhile, the representative of the Student Union of FHTM Gao Yue introduced the student activities in this semester, including: a series of training courses for Quality Service Ambassador, graduation dinner, etc. Finally, Professor Ben K. Goh also discussed issues about course evaluation, Pacific Asia Travel Association Macau SAR Student Chapter and so on.
Student representatives of SCC collected the opinions from students and offered the students suggestions and helped to solve the problems at the meeting. With the help of SCC, the faculty can solicit the opinions from students and organize the events and activities smoothly.
