Mr. Fang Hua, Member of the Standing Committee of the Liangxi District Committee of Wuxi City, Head of the Organization Department, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Jiangnan Ancient Canal Tourist Resort Management Office, led a delegation visit to the Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) on the morning of April 26th, 2023. Vice President Prof. Pang Chuan, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management Professor Ben K. Goh, Program Directors Professor Zhang Yang, Wong Weng Chou, Yang Chieh Yun, and Feng Yan, and Assistant Professor Zhang Su gave a warm reception to the group. The group first visited the History and Achievements Exhibition Hall of the University, and then the two parties have a friendly meeting.

At the meeting, Vice President Prof. Pang Chuan warmly welcomed the delegation and gave a brief overview of the mission and programs of M.U.S.T. Mr. Fang Hua introduced the development and urban characteristics of the Liangxi District in Wuxi City. The two parties will continue to deepen co-operation and further interact in the promotion of cultural tourism in the future.
One Line, One Station, One Center and Food Summit Forum
Subsequently, the two parties held a symposium on the One Line, One Station, One Center and Food Summit Forum. Issues such as talent demand, research topics on the planning of integrated cultural tourism, and the Promotion Plan of the World Gastronomy Capital Summit Forum were discussed. Both parties hope to carry out in-depth cooperation for the development of talent employment and entrepreneurship, the activation of intangible cultural heritage, and the marketization of cultural and creative products.
Wuxi Liangxi Talent Promotion Seminar
Mr. Fang Hua and his delegation also visited the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences at M.U.S.T. and held a Wuxi Liangxi talent promotion seminar for students on the previous day . This seminar strengthened the understanding of M.U.S.T. students on the talent introduction policies of Wuxi City and relevant future employment information.
