To provide students a more in-depth understanding of hotel management and related facilities, students of Rooms Management visited Grand Lisboa Palace Resort on 27th March, 2023 under the leadership of Dr. Chau Shuk Mun. The hotel representatives provided students with hospitable guidance for the visit.
The human resources and training team conducted an overall introduction about the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort, the development history, the brands and the three hotels in the establishment including Grand Lisboa Palace, The Karl Lagerfeld and Palazzo Versace.

The whole class visited the hotel designed by Karl Lagerfeld. The design can symbolize the uniqueness of the noble style with the combination of Chinese and Western concept design appealing to that luxurious class of customers. Subsequently, students were able to visit the Grand Lisboa Palace. Differently, this hotel shows a mix of the cultural theme of Macau and Portuguese style featuring upscale accommodation. These two different hotels offer customers options of unique high-end accommodation features.
As this hotel property is newly established, students feel the novelty of the concept and the prospects of hotel development in Macau. Upon this visit, students familiarize more about the hotel operation and development of hotel in Macau. Students enjoyed the hotel tour and regarded it as a good learning experience for their understanding about the hotel.
