From July 5th to 17th, on behalf of FHTM, assistant professor Zhang Meng, as the newly designated program director in charge of BITM, performed an inspection in Tallahassee-based Florida State University and Disney World in Orlando. During the inspection, Dr. Zhang visited Dr. Mary Coburn, Vice Rector of FSU in charge of student affairs; Dr. Cynthia Green, Director of Center for Global Engagement; Dr. Julie De Francisco, International Recruiter at Disney Worldwide Services. He was showed around Education Office and Service Center for Interns in Disney and also joint students’ hospitality classes, intercultural communication classes and field surveys to golf clubs and beach resorts nearby. This inspection enabled FHTM teachers to have a better understanding of this internship program, consolidated the mutual understanding and trust between FHTM and its partners, which will promote this program to develop more smoothly in future.
