Students across the two straits and four regions Exchanged Views on New Approaches to Entrepreneurship

Held by Shenzhen Science and Technology Association and the Student Science and Technology Society, Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University, the “3rd Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macau-Taiwan Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exchange Camp” took place at the Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University on December 13 to 15; student delegations from 21 higher institutions including Macau University of Science and Technology, the University of Hong Kong, and Taiwan Tsing Hua University got together and engaged in a three-day event, exchanging ideas on innovations and entrepreneurship. During the event, the participants demonstrated the different angles held by students from various regions towards innovations and entrepreneurship, the MUST team “Parking Radar Special Force” , which is teamed up by MUST students Zhu Si Yu, Song Zhi Yang, Peng Cheng, and Zhang Ying, made it into the final out of the 50 participants and finally landed the third place among the 21 teams.

At the event, Chairman of the MUST Graduate Student Union, Ji Cong Hui, and Vice Chairman Chai Yan engaged in talks with about 20 student leaders from the higher institutions across the two straits and four regions on how to further strengthen the ties among the students from the higher institutions; the different parties reached consensus on the establishment of “Joint Student Union of Higher Institutions across the two straits and four regions” so as to construct a bridge linking between students across the two straits and four regions, provide a broader platform for students to exchange ideas on innovation, entrepreneurship, and cultural information, and unify the joint strengths of the different parties.
