MUST Teachers and Students Donated A Hundred Thousand in Support of the “Walk for a Million 2015”

In response to the “Walk for a Million 2015”, teachers, students, staff, and alumni of MUST, together with the staff of MUST University Hospital, have jointly put together a donation of one hundred thousand MOP, which has been presented to the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News; a ceremony for the donation of the cheque was held at the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News in the afternoon of December 4. Mr. Kwong Ying Wa, Administrative Officer of the President’s Office, MUST, Ms. Remus Wong Ka Weng, Head of the Student Affairs Office, MUST, and Liao Bao Mei and He Mei Ling, student representatives of the Social Service Team of MUST, attended the ceremony.

As an annual charity event that all major Macau communities take part in, the Walk for a Million has always been a cause that MUST actively involves itself in. A great many fund-raising boxes have been placed in the campus for collection of the donated money; great efforts have been made to motivate teachers and students to participate in the walk of the “Walk for a Million 2015” on December 13. Vice President Chen Xi of MUST will lead the MUST teachers and students to complete the walk, carrying out and exemplifying the benevolent spirit of the MUST.
