The MUST Guest House Has Been Taken Over by FHTM, Aiming to
Provide Opportunities for Students to Experience and Learn

The guest house located in Block G at Macau University of Science and Technology mainly provide accommodation for visitors and exchange scholars. Since March 2016, it is under the management of Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) for educational and internship purposes.

The handover ceremony was held in the afternoon of April 6 at Block G. The guests included: Chair Prof. Pang Su Seng, Vice President, Dr. Tong Ka Lok, Vice President, Mr. Lei Keng Un, Chief Inspector of Social Relations from Melco Crown Entertainment, Mr. Timothy Millet, Chief Inspector of Talent Cultivation and Development from Wynn Palace, Mr. Kwong Ying Wa, Administrative Officer of President’s Office, Ms. Kok Mei Chi, Head of Personnel Office, Ms. Lam Ian Leng, Head of General Affairs Office, Ms. Chu Oi Mei, Head of Academic Affairs Office, Ms. Lou Lai Chu, Administrative Officer of Research and Technology Administrative Office, Ms. Wong Ka Weng, Head of Student Affairs Office, and teachers and students from FHTM.

Vice President Tong handed over the key that symbolizes the management of the guest house to Prof. Xie Fei Fan, Dean of FHTM, at the ceremony. It’s believed that the guest house will not only provide better and more professional service to the visitors, but also serve as a training base for FHTM students.

The ceremony was followed by a tea part, for which the desserts were prepared by teachers and students of Food and Beverage Management, FHTM. Ms. Han Xue Pan, a second-year student from FHTM who won the third prize in the singing contest “Top Voice of Macau”, also performed at the tea part.
