Students from MUST Won the First Prize in “Macao-Wide College Brand Packaging Design Competition 2016”

Organized by Macao International Brand Enterprise Commercial Association, the final of “Macao-Wide College Brand Packaging Design Competition 2016” was held on May 11, 2016 at the banquet hall of Macao Tower. Two students from Faculty of Humanities and Arts, MUST – Wang Sui Jiao and Yang Ying Li, with their work of brand packaging design “Kid’s Kingdom”, won the first prize. One of the finalists was the clothing packaging design “MACON” by another three MUST students: Huang Hai Liang, Aori Ge Le, and Zeng Bo Qiang.

The topic of the contest is to design packages for the products provided by nine Macao companies. After the intense competition in four months, the result was revealed yesterday. Students from FA, MUST won a first prize and an award for nomination. The guests who attended the ceremony included: Ms Terry Sio, President of Macao International Brand Enterprise Commercial Association, Mr. Vincent Tung , Chairman of Macao International Brand Enterprise Commercial Association, Mr. Lam Chi Ian, CEO & Creative Director of Macau Creations, Mr. Dannis Chan , President and Creative Director of Qeelin Limited, Mr. Tang Chi Bun, Project Manager of Department of Subsidy, Macau Foundation, Ms. Hwang Yuet Bing, Functional Head of Tertiary Education Services Office, Ms. Huang Guang Hui, Lecturer and Program Director from FA, MUST, and Ms. Wong Chi Kwan, Assistant Program Director from School of Arts, Macao Polytechnic Institute.

MUST has always encouraged students to apply what they’ve learned in various extracurricular activities and competitions. The great achievement the students make in this competition is a proof of MUST’s commitment to the implementation of professional education and the development of academic research, and its focus on cultivating high quality talent with both ability and integrity.
